I spoke with Stella, a Welsh farmer.

Like many farmers across our county, she raised serious concerns about rising fuel and fertiliser costs.

I have taken the concerns of Pembrokeshire’s farmers directly to Government and there has been action:

• Working to de-escalate conflict in the Middle East

• Strengthening the Competition and Markets Authority to tackle profiteering

• Supporting households through heating oil subsidies

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and take further action where needed to support our farmers, who play a vital role in putting food on our tables.
